But maybe at home," "I don't buy soda for you to drink!" (No, I'm not quite sure what it's for either. *shrugs*)
Genre of music: I don't have a favourite; I like virtually all kinds of music.
Genre of movies: Horror.
Your opinions (don't worry, controversy is fun, so be honest)
Gay marriage: It should be legalised before the stupid fucks in our government decide to try to write discriminatory things into the constitution (which they're already trying to do, mind).
The U.S. drinking age: It should be lowered because people don't know when to leave well enough and maybe a few times being sick will teach them, give people a chance to learn their limits and become responsible drinkers before they go out on their own.
Radio: Oh, the radio sucks. Very few stations play good music, there are FAR too many adverts, and even on satellite, I've had times when I can't find anything worth listening to. I just try to avoid it when possible.
Straight-edge kids: I guess if that's what you want to do, you're more than welcome to, but know that it's not for everyone, so don't be silly little bitches about it!
Violence in the media: Great for the media. I don't mind it there, as people have the right to make their own choices, and should know and understand the consequences of their actions. If you can't, you should just go die and stop fucking up the gene pool; it's bad enough without the extra help.
The city and/or state you live in (or just the country in general): The city sucks (cause theres nothing to do), the state sucks (because it has a horrible climate and it still hasn't figured out if it's north or south), and the country is okay (minus the whole deal with rights being taken away and our whole government basically just getting progressively worse).
Organized religion: I think this is possibly the silliest thing ever. Isn't your religion all about your faith? And it not your faith all about you personal connection to your god, or gods? Do you really need other people to be in agreement with you in order to believe? I think not.
Why do you want to join this community and why should we accept you? Because it seemed intersting, I need something to do and I smiled and said please.
What are some of your talents? And don't say none, everyone is good at at least one thing: I'm good with computers (both programming and networking), I can amuse myself and other people without even really thinking about it, and I can tie cherry stems into knots with my tongue. I'm told thats considered a talent.
Why do you use Livejournal? What do you like about it? I use it because I get bored writing in paper journals, because only I ever read them and I already know what I think about the things I have to say. I like that it's open and a really easy way to keep up with people whom I rarely get to talk to.
Do you use Myspace? Feel free to post the link to your profile, if you do. I have an account, but I don't ever use it. I'm not even honestly sure what the point is, anymore.
How many communities do you belong to? I ~did~ belong to 15, but I got really bored today and now I belong to 50. That number will probably go down to 20 by the end of the week, though, because I know I won't be able to keep up with all of them, nor will I want to.
Do you prefer having a couple very close friends or lots of semi-good friends? Why? I prefer a couple of very close friends because I don't like to go out and do things, but rather prefer to stay in, and watch movies with them, wondering if we'll think it's nearly as good when we're sober. I don't know. It's just nice to know for a fact that I can count on a few people, rather than hoping some of those people I see too often, but don't know will give enough of a fuck to be there when I need someone.
If you were going on a date, would you rather it just be you and your date or a big group date? Why? Myself and my date because I'm a total cuddle whore. I like to spend alone time with whomever I love and it just happens that when in a group, it turns into one big pile of warm writhing bodies and I start worrying about who showered recently.
Describe your "soulmate": My soulmate is someone who can make me smile before 8 am and make me laugh when I'm least expecting it. It's someone who can be content just sitting for hours in silence because nothing needs to be said, but is more than capable of making good conversation, both intelligent and nonesense. It's also someone who can forgive me for wearing their shirts and then not washing them promptly.
Do you self mutilate? (You don't have to answer this if you don't want to.) Nope. I have enough scars as it is. And also, I tend more to feel better from going out and walking, taking thousands of pictures and being happy cause I know that 98% of them will turn out well.
Post at least 2 clear and semi-recent pictures of yourself. (Feel free to post more than 2.)
The first was before I cut it. And yes, I'd JUST gotten out of the shower on the second.
